SMHI has issued warnings in several parts of the country, due to the storm Pia that moved in over Denmark yesterday.
Along the coastal stretch in western Scania and southern Halland there is an orange warning – a second on the three-point scale – for high water levels. According to SMHI, the water level is expected to reach “very high levels during Friday”.
In several places – including parts of Götaland, Gotland and Svealand – there are warnings of snowfall in combination with wind.
In the southern part of Gävlebor county, an orange warning for snowfall has been issued, which, among other things, risks causing problems in traffic, writes SMHI.
SMHI describes Friday’s weather in the southern part of the country as “very difficult”.
In Skåne and Halland there is also a yellow wind warning.
