During Wednesday there is a risk of heavy rain in parts of northern Sweden. SMHI has issued a yellow warning for heavy showers with elements of thunder.
A total of 30-60 millimeters of rain can fall, of which large amounts in a short time. This can mean the risk of basements, stormwater systems, roads and viaducts being flooded.
Large local variations
According to SMHI, it is uncertain where the largest amounts of rain will end up because there are expected to be large local variations.
The warning applies from Wednesday morning and extends until closer to midnight.
