From Blekinge up to the valley border, torrential rain is expected over the eastern half of the country. The heaviest showers are expected to come during the afternoon and evening.
“During Friday, there is a risk of heavy rain and thundershowers that can produce 30-60 mm in a short time, which can cause problems with flooding,” writes SMHI.
The rainy weather may create problems in traffic and there is a risk of basements and roads being flooded. Locally hail can also occur.
The warning applies from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
