“During the afternoon, strong showers form that can locally produce 30-50 mm. The largest amounts are expected in northern Västergötland, Östergötland, Sörmland and the Stockholm region. Thunder and strong gusts of wind can also occur,” writes SMHI.
According to SMHI, the rain can lead to basements, stormwater systems and roads being flooded. Traffic may also be affected.
