SMHI has issued a yellow weather warning. Thunder and torrential rain are expected to move in over the affected parts of the country at 4 p.m. The warning lasts past midnight and until 01 a.m. on the night of Friday.
SMHI warns that basements, storm water systems, roads and viaducts are flooded and also the electricity supply and train traffic are at risk of being affected due to lightning strikes.
Strong gusts can also cause downed trees and blocked roads.
