SMHI has issued yellow and orange snow warnings for Monday and Tuesday.
In parts of southern Norrland and western Svealand, an orange warning applies for heavy snowfall in combination with windy weather. Something that can cause problems in traffic.
“Don’t go out into traffic unnecessarily or prepare yourself for the possibility of standing still. Traffic conditions can be difficult due to drifts, slippage, poor visibility and snow,” SMHI writes on its page.
Yellow warnings for heavy snowfall have also been issued in parts of southern Norrland, Södra Gävleborgs län, Östra Svealand and Östra Götaland during Monday.
On Tuesday, the yellow warnings cease in eastern Svealand, eastern Götaland and Västra Götaland.

TV4’s meteorologist Johan Lundberg describes the whole thing as awkward.
– Here we will probably experience a grand triple with large amounts of snow, wet precipitation that generates slippery conditions and windy east winds, he says.
