SMHI has issued a yellow warning for strong winds moving in at the Swedish coast.
And anyone who is thinking of going out to sea would do well to think again.
– Stay on land, says TV4’s meteorologist Peter Kondrup.
Winds between 14 and 17 meters per second are expected to cause it at sea during the weekend.
SMHI has issued a yellow warning in large parts of the Baltic Sea, as well as the Skagerrak, Kattegatt and Lake Vänern.
– It will be quite windy along the coasts in southern Sweden. Those who are out in a smaller leisure boat should probably take it a bit more cautiously or perhaps even better stay at home, says TV4’s meteorologist Peter Kondrup.
The storm risks causing problems for leisure boats and smaller commercial vessels, writes SMHI.
The winds are expected to die down over the weekend, but will remain on the east coast on Sunday as well.
