SMHI has previously issued a snow warning around the western coast.
Now comes next – along the southern northern coast it can fall up to two inches heavy snow.
-It can cause traffic disruptions, says TV4 meteorologist Ulrika Elvgren.
In the coming 24 hours, large amounts of snow will be expected to fall in the western bottom coast. SMHI, which issued the yellow warning yesterday, believes that it can fall up to three inches of snow in an area between Skellefteå and Lövånger.
The warning starts to apply at eight tonight and is expected to last until nine on Thursday morning.
Now on Wednesday morning, SMHI has come out with another yellow warning. This time along the southern Norrland coast. The warning area extends from Ockelbo in the south to Kramfors in the north.
“May arise traffic disruptions”
It can fall up to two inches heavy snow and SMHI warns of persistent and profuse snowfall – which can cause problems.
-We are quite far into the season, so it is not as big consequences now as in the beginning, says TV4 meteorologist Ulrika Elvgren and continues:
– But it can cause traffic disruptions.
It also gets windy on the coast.
“During Wednesday evening it will be windy with up to healthy northeastern wind,” writes SMHI on his website.
The warning starts to apply at 16.00 on Wednesday afternoon and is expected to last until 03:00 on Thursday morning.
