Smaller than a grain of salt Surprised for the price

According to the news of The Independent; The tiny handbag made by Brooklyn-based art collective MSCHF was put up for auction last week. The yellow-green fluorescent bag was sold on June 27 for $63,750 by the auction house founded by Pharrell Williams.

Measuring only 657 by 222,700 microns, the cloth bag was sold with a microscope “with a built-in digital display” for the buyer to view.

The art collective described the bag as “smaller than a grain of salt” on Instagram. According to the company, the bag is narrow enough to pass through a pinhole.

“YOU WILL NEED A MICROSCOPE TO SEE IT”

The company captioned its Instagram post, “This is such a small bag you’ll need a microscope to see it.” also included his statement.

The small bag also looks like an imitation of a famous brand bag because it has a tag in the middle. The design also resembles the logos on the famous brand’s handbag, which sells for between $3,100 and $4,300.

Speaking to The New York Times earlier this month, MSCHF’s creative director Kevin Wiesner admitted that he did not seek permission to use the famous brand’s logo on the bag.

However, Wiesner acknowledged that Pharrell Williams was a fan of oddly sized objects. “Pharrell loves big hats, so we made him an amazing little bag,” Wiesner added.

The bag in question managed to attract the attention of social media users. When the art collective first shared a photo of her mini bag on Instagram, people didn’t hesitate to ti’d the bag’s size in the comments.
