Negotiator and advisor for the Alliance of Small Island States (Aosis), Michai Robertson returned, during a press conference this week, to the adoption of the “loss and damage” fund which should allow countries to recover from ‘a disaster. It is a victory for this coalition of islands from the Pacific, the Caribbean and elsewhere, but a narrative is now circulating that is disturbing. He explains it to RFI.
