Choreographer Smaïl Kanouté combines dance and visual arts to pay tribute to the victims of firearms in New York, Rio de Janeiro and Johannesburg. “Never Twenty One”, in reference to the hashtag of the Black Lives Matter movement, was based on the testimonies of the relatives of the victims to evoke their revolt, their resilience and more generally, the fight against racism.

He defines himself as a “choreographer”. It must be said that he is a protean artist, graphic designer, screen printer, visual artist, videographer, dancer and choreographer… He created series of clothes, designed the patterns for two pairs of shoes, danced for Raphaelle Delaunay Or Radhouane El Meddebwhile building its own shows.
