SM gold for Sundling and Ribom – won by far

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The national team skiers and world champions Jonna Sundling and Emma Ribom pushed hard from the downhill and Sundling was finally able to cross the finish line in superior style.

— A nice experience to go with Emma. The course is great and the paddock is great. We are strong today and it is great that both the body and the skis are working. It was incredibly wonderful to feel that we had an advantage, says Jonna Sundling to Östersunds-Posten.

The silver also went to Piteå and its second team with Ebba Andersson and Lisa Ingesson. Falun-Borlänge’s Maja Dahlqvist and Louise Lindström took the last podium place and came third.

— It was fun, there is a good atmosphere here. It gives a lot of energy. I try to soak up as much of it as I can. And nice to see two Piteå teams at the top. It was fun that we managed to pick up a double, says Emma Ribom to Östersunds-Posten.

Frida Karlsson-led Sollefteå came in fourth, while Linn Svahn’s Östersund finished in fifth place.
