The Slovenian Matej Mohoric (Bahrain Victorious) won on Saturday March 19 in the classic Milan-San Remo. Exceptional in the descent of the Poggio, the 27-year-old rider dominated all the favorites, including his compatriot Tadej Pogacar, to win this 113th Primavera. Matej Mohoric completed the 293 kilometers in 6 hours 27 minutes and 49 seconds ahead of Frenchman Anthony Turgis and Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel, who arrived two seconds later. He succeeds the Belgian Jasper Stuyven, crowned in 2021, and becomes the first Slovenian to put his name on the list.
