Slovakia’s government is putting an end to the country’s military aid to Ukraine, announced the country’s newly appointed Prime Minister Robert Fico.
Slovakia will “no longer supply weapons to Ukraine”, but will continue to provide humanitarian aid, Fico said on Thursday. The announcement is in line with promises he made during his election campaign.
Robert Fico has been described as a pro-Russian politician and has been compared to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
