A slaughterhouse in the province of Utrecht is no longer allowed to slaughter animals because 22 young goats have died in a stable. The slaughterhouse was already under stricter supervision after previous violations and so the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) has closed the slaughterhouse for the time being.
