An SL bus has overturned in Botkyrka south of Stockholm and is lying on its side in the ditch, reports P4 Stockholm.
SL confirms to TV4 Nyheterna that a bus has overturned along road 257 in the Domarringen area at half past ten on Tuesday morning. According to the driver, two people should be slightly injured.
According to the rescue service, there are eight passengers and a driver on board, but the extent of the damage is currently unclear. The road is completely closed and there is currently no forecast for when it can be reopened.
The road conditions right now in the Stockholm area are difficult.
– It’s extremely slippery at the site and it’s a very curvy road and an accident-prone road, says Anders Sessler, officer on duty at the rescue service, to TV4 Nyheterna.
