Inspired by the 1957 model Škoda 1100 OHC Spider, the electric and four-wheel drive Škoda Vision Gran Turismo is equipped with four electric motors producing 800 kW power and 1,020 Nm torque. Škoda, which has a history of motor sports for more than 120 years, now takes its place in the gaming world with its striking vehicle. With this concept vehicle, the brand is participating in the popular Gran Turismo 7 racing simulation for PlayStation 4 and 5 for the first time. The virtual concept work developed specifically for this platform stands out as a fully electric racing car for the Vision category of the game. Virtual Vision Gran Turismo is inspired by the 1957 1100 OHC Spider developed to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The design team, led by Oliver Stefani, has developed a spectacular open-top single-seater by combining design elements of the legendary 1100 OHC with new features such as the split rear wing.

Vision Gran Turismo also includes features of the new Modern Solid design language used for future electric Škoda models. These include T-shaped headlights and matte green body color. The vehicle with active aerodynamics offers superior performance in all track conditions. Designed with superior efficiency and driving dynamics, the vehicle weighs only 1,300 kg. Designed with a length of approximately 4.41 meters, a width of 1.95 meters and a height of only 94.9 centimeters, the vehicle is powered by an 87 kWh lithium-ion battery. The dynamic sound of Vision Gran Turismo was specially developed by the Škoda Development and Design team.”
