They are officially a couple after all the speculation and Edvin was shocked at how curious everyone was about who she really was.
– I didn’t realize it would become such a thing. People have been so terribly curious, says Anger in an interview with SportExpressen.
– I could never imagine that there would be such an uproar.

The couple met via the dating app Tinder when Edvin Anger was in Lillehammer to compete in the World Cup at the end of last year. Since then, there has been a great deal of secrecy on the part of the Swedish skiing talent.
– It probably has to do with the fact that I had some success at the same time. But you’re not used to it being a damn thing just because I say I met a girl. There are many who have been so terribly curious. I’ve had flashback threads sent to me where they were looking for who she is, he tells the evening newspaper.

19-year-old Emma also practices cross-country skiing at an elite level, but she has not reached Norway’s A national team yet. Actually, neither of them wanted to find love in cross-country skiing, but it happened anyway.
– Well, not at all. To be honest, I’ve always thought that I shouldn’t get together with another skier, says Edvin.
– Same here!, Emma answers quickly.
– But Emma understands what it’s all about – and that makes everything easier. Otherwise, it can certainly be difficult for a girl to understand everything that is required of me in my skiing venture. That I have to put training first right now, says Edvin in the interview.
