Gustaf Lindvall was named the entire SHL’s best goalkeeper in 2020. But the AIK player has suffered from recurring injury concerns.
He recently made a comeback after a longer rehabilitation period – but now comes a really heavy setback.
Lindvall looks set to miss the entire season, reports The north.
— Unfortunately, we have had a setback in the plans for “Gurra” to return to play. He will probably be out for the rest of the season, says doctor Karin Granberg to the newspaper.
It is about a so-called lower body injury.
“We choose to jointly invest in long-term and long-term sustainability and playability,” says Granberg.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper has a contract with Skellefteå until spring 2026.
