On Monday, Skellefteå AIK took history’s fourth SM gold, ten years since the last one.
Now the municipality of Skellefteå is planning a big celebration on the square during Walpurgis fair night.
– Everyone is of course welcome to celebrate the gold. It will be a wonderful atmosphere and a wonderful atmosphere, says Karl-Henrik Dagman, marketing director of Skellefteå municipality, in a press release.
Team captain: “Will be fantastic”
The players will be honored on stage.
– It will be absolutely fantastic to be able to share the gold celebration with all the people who have been with us all the way to this gold. We in the team hope that everyone will come and celebrate with us, says Skellefteå AIK’s team captain Jonathan Pudas.
The celebration takes place in the square between 17-18 on Tuesday, but kicks off as early as 16.30 with “warming up”.
