The problems with SJ’s X2000 trains have been fixed, says press communicator Martina Nord in TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon.
– The extra inspection of the trains has gone faster than we expected, so this is very good news, she says in TV4.
The trains are expected to be in service again on Wednesday.
SJ has stopped nine express trains of the X2000 model since another X2000 train with the same type of wheels was damaged on its journey between Stockholm and Gothenburg last Thursday.
The stop has led to canceled departures on the routes between the metropolitan regions.
Already on Sunday, Martina Nord stated for TT that the inspections are going faster than expected and that it is expected that the trains would be out in service by the middle of the week.
