Six cross-country skiers are missing in the Swiss Alps where there are severe weather conditions. A rescue operation has been launched, according to the police.
The search began between the ski resort of Zermatt and the village of Arolla, near the border with Italy. The group was reported missing since they made their way from Zermatt to the Tête Blanche area, according to police.
