But the low economy also means that it is a good time to study. News24 asked Kerstin Eriksson at Arbetsförmedlingen make a list of professions with great job opportunities, which require university education.
Dispenser
Training: The training to become a recipent includes three years of study at university level and leads to a recipent exam, which is a professional exam.

Training: To be employed as an accountant, university education in economics is required. The duration of the training varies between three and four years, depending on the field of study.
Average monthly salary: SEK 46,700
Software and system developer
Training: At colleges and universities, you can choose different programs to become a system developer, from basic level up to postgraduate level. The training lasts at least three years.
Average monthly salary: SEK 48,600
Engineers and technicians in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
Training: To become a civil or university engineer in electrical engineering, you need to study at a university. You either study for a master’s degree in engineering (three years) or a master’s degree in engineering (five years) with a focus on electrical engineering.
Average monthly salary: SEK 50,600 (electronics) and SEK 46,200 (mechanical engineering)
Specialist doctor
Training: The training to become a doctor is six years. When you are a registered doctor, you can start specialization service (ST), which covers five and a half years and results in specialist competence in a particular field.
Average monthly salary: SEK 86,400
