Six Nations Police investigate two collisions

Six Nations Police dealt with two motor vehicle collisions last weekend on Chiefswood Road.

Officers responded to a collision at about 10:30 pm on Saturday when they noticed a vehicle traveling slowly toward the scene with its turn signal on.

The approaching vehicle turned into the opposite lane and entered the ditch.

The male driver exited the vehicle and exhibited signs of impairment.

The accused, a 41-year-old Hagersville man, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, use plate not authorized for vehicle, driving while under suspension, and drive motor vehicle – no license.

No charges were laid in regard to the initial collision, and no injuries were reported in either incident.
