Police on Six Nations of the Grand River say they are investigating a possible cougar sighting.
Police said Tuesday that just before 7 pm on Monday a person reported seeing what they believed was a cougar in the driveway of a home on Chiefswood Road.
The person said the animal ran into the bush towards Second Line Road.
The person described the animal as black with a long tail.
Police said they notified Six Nations animal control and are investigating with help from the Ministry of Natural Resources.
