The people now sentenced are three 19-year-olds, a 21-year-old, a 27-year-old and a 35-year-old.
The persons are convicted of gross sabotage against blue-light operations after participating in the riot in Navestad, which was one of the riots directed against the police in various places in Sweden during the Easter weekend 2022. The persons, among other things, threw stones and called for violence against the police.
The riot broke out as a result of a planned Koran burning by the far-right politician Rasmus Paludan.
