The decision of “forbidden to play” about the singers taken in Kyrgyzstan created surprise. According to the information received by the AA correspondent from the Press Center of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, Minister Altınbek Maksutov’s decision banning singers from “playback” entered into force as of January 1. The decision will apply to all state-owned cultural and educational institutions, theatres, sports, concert and movie theaters, clubs, libraries, museums and cultural events open to the public.
MINISTER MAKSUTOV WILL PERSONALLY AUDIT
It was stated that Minister Maksutov will personally supervise compliance with the decision and the responsibility will belong to the organizers and hosts of the events. (AA)
