In Call of Duty Warzone 2, you don’t actually make fast progress when creating new armor plates. But one player has now found a trick to make it work.
If you want to survive as long as possible in a CoD Warzone 2 match, you should protect yourself against damage with armor.
In a tight fight, however, there is often little time to push up the important armor plates – and you slowly move when you put them on.
So you’re usually an easy target in or after a fight if you’re putting on armor but can’t take cover. A player has now figured out a trick to refilling armor while running.
Warzone 2 lets players accelerate by jumping when putting on armor
This is how the trick works: On Twitter, the user “north navi” showed how you can be faster in Warzone 2 if you put on armor.
The solution is apparently jumps, as can be seen in the video:
While putting the plates on, you should run forward and start jumping at the same time. From the second armor plate, the operator then starts to run – so it probably won’t work if you only refill one plate.
The trick is not the first in terms of movement: In Warzone 2, the so-called “G-Walk” is also doing the rounds. This is a combination of crouching, jumping and sliding to move faster than normal running.
Regarding armor, there are also a few things to consider in Warzone 2. For example, there is now equipment that allows you to take more armor plates with you. And in DMZ mode you can get more armor plates if you aim for the head instead of the torso.
