The President of the Republic announced it during her national funeral in July 2017… grateful France is carrying Simone Veil to the Pantheon this Sunday, July 1, 2018. Simone Veil is the pioneer of the political fight for women’s rights to freedom, equality and dignity. In 1974, she obtained the vote for the law legalizing voluntary termination of pregnancy. A conviction defended with femininity in a world where power is exercised by men.
