The US gymnast took home her first individual gold medal since the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Biles won with a total score of 59.131. Brazilian gymnast who won silver Rebecca Andrade lost to the superstar by 1.199 points.
Even though Biles had a mistake on the uneven bars that was visible in the points, it didn’t stop the gymnast, who accumulated a huge balance of honors, from fighting for victory.
Biles’ title moves on the jump and landing secured the 27-year-old American’s sixth Olympic gold.
Biles has four Olympic golds from Rio and, after Thursday, two from Paris. He has a staggering 39 medals in total from the World Championships and the Olympics.
The bronze also went to the United States when Sunisa Lee completed the top three.
Biles will continue her pursuit of gold medals in the vault final on Saturday.
