During a break at work – in the middle of the night – Simon Eriksson looked up at the dark night sky.
What appeared there surprised him.
– I became very puff. It looked like a science fiction movie, he says.
During the night towards Wednesday, Simon Eriksson worked on the railway in Malmö. After just completing the work on a train, he noticed how the sky above him changed character.
There was something traveling up there – in what looked like a troop -like formation.
– I thought, “What the hell is that for something,” he says.
“As a science fiction movie”
Simon picked up his mobile and filmed the sky phenomenon. At the same time, he shouted at his colleagues for them to take part in the spectacle up in the sky.
– I became very puff. It looked like a science fiction movie with type missiles, he says.
Unfortunately, for their part, they did not arrive in time.
But when they took part in Simon’s movie, they were equally surprised. After a little pondering, they concluded that it could not be missiles or robots, but that it was probably a satellite.
Satellite that burns up in the atmosphere
When TV2 Denmark Meteorologist Andreas Nyholm gets to know the film, he is in the same theory.
– It’s probably space scrap. There are many indications that Starlink satellites or a Falcon 9 rocket from SpaceX burns up, he says.
