A Simcoe woman has won a top prize in the Instant $50K Casino lottery.

Leona Fletcher won the $50,000 prize after purchasing the ticket while grocery shopping.
“I bought this ticket because I liked it,” she shared. “I didn’t realize it liked me too.”
Fletcher said her heart was pounding when she discovered her ticket was a big winner.
“I never dreamed I’d win a prize like this. I’d be happy with $100,” said the lottery winner. “My mom would always say ‘You can’t win if you don’t play.’ I’m proof that it can happen to you.”
Fletcher said she plans to invest her winnings to ensure a secure and comfortable future.
Instant $50K Casino is available for $50 per play, with a top prize of $50,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.68 according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming.
The winning ticket was purchased at Clark’s Pharmasave on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe.
