Province of Utrecht – The number of reports about people with confused behavior in the province of Utrecht has increased significantly in the past year, from 53 to 70 per week. This is partly due to long waiting lists in healthcare, but also because the police, in particular, report more quickly. “This way, this group does not end up in criminal law, but they receive the care they need,” says director Job Zwaal of GGD region Utrecht (GGDrU).
