A powerful fire is ravaging parts of Los Angeles, USA.
Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated as a result of the massive fires, with the celebrity-dense Pacific Palisades worst hit.
According to information from TV4 911 has received over 3,600 calls in the past 24 hours regarding the fires.

Weather conditions are so severe that an official warning has been issued for “life-threatening, destructive” storm surges in Southern California – gale-force winds expected to last for days.

Gunilla Persson evacuates from the fire in Los Angeles
Living in the affected parts of Los Angeles are several well-known Swedes, among them Gunilla Persson who documented the fire on his Instagram.
She ultimately followed authorities’ evacuation orders and evacuated her home.

Sigge Eklund saved the dog – then he ran away from home
Also the media profile and the podcaster Sigge Eklund lives in the affected area with his family.
He evacuated his home last night and only managed to bring his dog and computer with him in the commotion. He is now in a hotel in Santa Monica, not knowing if his house is still there.
“Our neighbor’s howl has ignited 10 meters from ours, which makes you a bit pessimistic,” he tells Ekot.
He claims to have seen “scenes he will never forget”.
