Siege Year 7 Season 2 details announced

Rainbow Six: Siege Year 7 Season 2 with Operation Vector Glare; Belgian Operator, Close Contact Map and Practice Tools are coming.

Recently, we announced that Ubisoft will come up with a new operator. This time, the company shared some information about Rainbow Six: Siege 7th Year 2nd Season details. With this new update from the Belgian operator, a close contact map and training tools will also be added to the game. The company’s statement and update details on the subject are as follows;

Rainbow Six: Siege Year 7 Season 2 is coming June 7

This season; Sens, a new Belgian operator, introduces a new Team Deathmatch map, Stealth Mode, and phase 1 of the new Reputation System that introduces other updates, story change, and more gameplay improvements.

Operation Vector Glare brings strategy to the forefront with Sens, a brilliant tactician from Belgium with military experience and training in psychology. His ROU Projector System device uses a wheel that puts small projectors on the ground and moves in a straight line before self-destructing after a specified time. Projectors create a wall of light that blocks the players’ line of sight. A versatile approach therefore fits perfectly into Sens’ wheel device. Sens is a low-speed, high-health operator with a new POF-9 or 417 as a primary weapon and an SDP 9MM or GONNE-6 as a secondary weapon.

Alongside Sens comes a special new map for Team Deathmatch mode at season opener. Located in Greece, Close Contact is the first map designed specifically for the Team Deathmatch mode, which focuses on movement rather than defensive setups. With a circular flow and a good mix of different sight lines, this facility will be a unique experience for players to try.

As part of the Year 7 roadmap, phase 1 of the Reputation System is coming this season to continue addressing player behavior improvements. In this update, Reverse Friendly Fire will be enabled by default for those who injure too many teammates.

Players will receive two warnings before the penalty is activated, and the sanctions will expire after playing multiple matches without harming their teammates. Another update will be aimed at those who abuse the match cancellation system by giving players more control from the first request to the cancellation of the match. Additionally, the “Privacy” options will now be available to all players in the “Options” menu.

Two practice vehicles will be added this season: (1) Shooting Range: A playable area to practice, train and practice with weapon damage, attachments and recoils without the pressure of a match to find the best gear. (2) Operator’s Guide: Provides players with information such as tips about each operator, their unique abilities, devices, attacking or defending strategies. Other updates include a third slot for a secondary weapon for certain operators and the option to adjust screen shake intensity.

As announced at the Six Invitational 2022, a story change is coming to the Siege universe, and Rainbow Six operators will now be split into special units. These units will work together to fulfill Rainbow’s mission of global protection. Operation Vector Glare introduces Wolfguard, the world’s foremost humanitarian military unit known for its compassionate and sensitive approach.

Most Wolfguard members are trained in battlefield medicine and are some sort of conservationist. Wolfguard unit members: Lion, Montagne, Nomad, Twitch, Ying, Sens, Clash, Melusi, Bandit, Frost, Thunderbird, Castle and team leaders Doc.

Ubisoft has teamed up with SEGA and the Yakuza series to create two exclusive skin packs for Rainbow Six Siege. A Kaoru Sayama-inspired deck for Hibana and a Kiryu Kazuma-inspired deck for Echo will be available in-game. Additionally, a new elite skin is coming soon for Echo, inspired by another iconic character from Yakuza games.

In addition, with the Build Your Team Program that comes with Operation Vector Glare, players will be able to invite up to four former teammates who have not played in the 7th year to the game. After playing five matches together in any PvP game mode, both players will receive huge rewards.

Players who invite former teammates will earn rewards for each of their four friends completing the program: a new Year 6 operator, a new exotic weapon skin, or other reserve rewards, including Battle Pass points if they already own these operators. Each returning player, after playing five matches, unlocks a Year 4 or Year 5 operator or other substitute rewards.
