The generosity of the French people was once again at the rendezvous of the fight against AIDS: the weekend of Sidaction 2022 made it possible to collect more than 4 million euros in pledges.
These three days of mobilization, awareness and information have shed light on HIV/AIDS. Sidaction was able to rely on the 33 partner media (including Doctissimo) and all the donors who responded this year to give research the means to move forward and associations to continue their work with people living with HIV. HIV.
“The weekend of Sidaction is a moment crucial to inform the General public on HIV/AIDS whose indicators to are gradients the last two years. The weekend was punctuated by highlights thanks to the commitment of Sidaction’s 33 media partners. “The fight against the AIDS virus must remain a priority if we do not want to reverse the progress made. We have to keep fighting because in 2022, HIV/AIDS remains a reality for all. It is important to continue to support us to avoid a resumption of the epidemic” explains Florence Thune.

The funds collected this weekend will be donated to research and care programs and to associative programs for the care and assistance of people living with HIV, in France and abroad. Donations also feed an emergency fund that can be released to provide additional funding to associations whose needs have increased during the health crisis or to support partner associations in Ukraine and Eastern Europe since the beginning of the conflict.
