Totally superior
In total, she has picked up an insane 24 gold medals in the Olympics and the World Cup – it is a track record that really few can match. There is also no doubt that she is by far the biggest star in the World Swimming Championships – and she has really got off to a great start at the championship.
Earlier this week, she showed why she is ranked as one of the world’s absolute best. During the 1500 meters, Ledecky was so superior that she had to wait a full 14 seconds before finishing second.
