Show: “La Langue des cygnes”, a mix of dance, puppetry, music and sign language

It is an initiatory journey told by a Gabonese choreographer and a French puppeteer. In the hands of Laurie Cannac and through the steps and movements of Andy Scott Ngoua, the famous tale The ugly Duckling of the Dane Andersen becomes The Language of Swans. A show that evokes exclusion and fights it at the same time thanks to its bilingual system in French and sign language.

“La Langue des Cygnes” is on view until March 22 at the Théâtre Le Mouffetard in Paris and in September at the World Festival of Puppet Theaters in Charleville-Mézières in north-eastern France.
