As a result, according to Besamusca, it is by no means always possible for women to work more. The government should therefore do more to promote this, she believes. “If you come up with a campaign to get women to work more hours, you also have to make sure that the overall picture is correct. I then wonder: what are you going to do as a government to make this possible? Because it is not only but a choice of women, the preconditions must also be there.”
