The police were alerted on Saturday morning about a shooting in Akalla in northwest Stockholm. At the scene, the police were able to establish that there had been a shooting at a residence in an apartment building, the police write on their website.
There are also traces outside the home that indicate that an object has detonated.
According to the police, several people were sleeping in the home at the time of the incident, and one person is said to have been slightly injured by shards of glass.
The police have cordoned off the scene for a technical investigation and are questioning witnesses in the area. A preliminary investigation into attempted murder, aggravated weapons crime and public destruction has been launched.
No one has been detained.
