Shots were fired at an apartment building in Vendelsömalm in Haninge, south of Stockholm, during the night. No one has been arrested but the police are looking for help with dogs.
– Several shots must have been heard. No person is injured and we do not yet know who this is aimed at, says police spokesman Ola Österling.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into violations of the Firearms Act and serious illegal threats.
Half an hour later, a car was stopped in Trångsund in Huddinge and then the police discovered a suspected dangerous object. Several men in their 20s have been arrested and the police are now investigating whether the two incidents are linked.
Bomb and forensic technicians have been sent to the scene. Otherwise, the police do not want to say anything more about the object that has been found in the car.
