An apartment in the Larsberg area of Lindingö was fired upon with several shots during the night of Tuesday.
An adult and a minor child were in the apartment.
– We received an alarm just before midnight that someone somehow got into a stairwell and fired several shots at an apartment door. There were people in the apartment but no one was hit by any shots, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
Earlier on Monday evening, a residence in Handen was fired upon, but it is still unknown if it has any connection with the shooting in Lidingö.
– It is not something we can comment on at the moment, says Daniel Wikdahl.
An operation is now underway in the area, including a helicopter to search for one or more perpetrators.
– There are several different types of testimony, but I cannot go into what observations have been made, says Daniel Wikdahl.
The police are classifying the incident as attempted murder and a serious crime against the Weapons Act.
