New Year’s Eve turned messy with several fires and assaults across the country. At one o’clock on New Year’s Eve, the police were called to the Burger King in Örebro. A gang had fired two rockets at the restaurant, reports say Örebro Tribune.

– There was a group of 10-15 people outside who hit something, says Rasmus Erikssonofficer in charge of the police in the Bergslagen region, to The evening paper.
A 25-year-old man suffered hearing damage after the fireworks were set off at the restaurant. No other person was injured.
– There were many who were cut and burned by the rockets on the floor of the room.
