Several shots were fired on the night of Monday at an apartment door in Kungsängen, north of Stockholm.
– The alarm came in shortly after midnight. A number of people called in to say they heard what sounded like gunshots in the stairwell, says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind to TT.
Several people are said to have been in the apartment that was shot at, but no one is physically injured.
– There have been people at home, but no children should have been in the apartment.
The crime scene is cordoned off so that the police can carry out a technical investigation. Several patrols, including a dog patrol and a helicopter, have searched for the person or persons who fired shots at the apartment.
At 1:30 a.m., no one was in custody in the case, which is classified as attempted murder.
