Several callers alerted the police on Thursday evening about suspected shooting in Farsta in southern Stockholm.
For TV4 Nyheterna, the police confirm that shots have been fired at an apartment door.
No one should be injured, but the police have cordoned off the scene and are on the scene with several patrols to try to arrest suspected perpetrators.
Both helicopters and dogs participate in the hunt.
The police are investigating the incident as a suspected gross violation of the Weapons Act and gross illegal threats or attempted murder.
