The alarm came shortly after midnight. A villa in Sätra, southern Stockholm, had been shot.
Inside the home was at least one person, but no one must have come to physical harm.
Witnesses saw when the perpetrator fled the scene and according to information to TV4 News, police helicopters managed to locate him in a forest area. It is a man in his 18s.
Weapons found
A weapon has been found, according to the same information, and the police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons crime.
During the night, the police have held interrogations with the people living in the house and knocked on a door in the area. Objects have also been seized and secured tracks.
“In summary, there is a good investigation situation,” police say.
