The police were alerted to a suspicious shooting in Västerås at around 10.30pm on Saturday evening.
– We find that a property has been shot at there and are starting a serious crime investigation, says Pelle Vamstad, press spokesperson for the police region Mitt.
One or more people have been injured and are being treated in hospital.
– There are injured, but it is uncertain how many. In my opinion, no one is deceased, says Pelle Vamstad.
No suspects had been arrested by midnight.
– We have fairly extensive cordons of the plastics that are of interest, both indoors and outdoors, and we will carry out a technical investigation to secure evidence, says Pelle Vamstad.
