A 25-year-old man has been shot in Vårby farm south of Stockholm.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance, the police said.
– The place is cordoned off and we are working with trace protection and questioning witnesses, says police spokesperson Nadya Norton.

At the scene, the police found an injured man.
– A 25-year-old man has been found shot. He has been taken to hospital by ambulance. He was awake and talking, but I have no information about the state of the injury, says Nadya Norton.
A major police operation is underway.
– The place is cordoned off and we are working with trace protection and questioning witnesses. At the same time, we are looking for the perpetrator, says Nadya Norton.
The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder.
