POn Wednesday evening, three suspicious shootings occurred in the Stockholm area within the space of just over three hours.
In Södertälje, a person has been seriously injured in connection with a suspected shooting, according to information to TV4 Nyheterna, and in Bagarmossen, a person has been arrested after a suspected shooting on the subway platform.
Several suspicious shootings have taken place in the Stockholm area on Wednesday evening.
At six o’clock the police were alerted to Bagarmossen in southern Stockholm after a suspicious shooting at the subway.
– We have received information that a person allegedly fired a weapon on the platform, says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.
No injured person has yet been found, and it is unclear if anyone was injured in connection with the shooting. A suspected perpetrator has been arrested.
“Nothing to confirm that it was shot”
Just over an hour later, the police were alerted to an address in Skälby in Järfälla municipality north of Stockholm due to a suspected shooting, but it is unclear if a shooting actually took place.
– We have nothing to confirm that shots were fired here, and no one is injured, says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, one person has been taken to hospital, but the person is not supposed to be shot.
According to the information, a perpetrator has been stopped in a taxi and arrested, and the driver has also been detained. Another perpetrator is wanted. The police cannot yet confirm any of the information.
One seriously injured
Shortly after nine o’clock, the police received another alarm about a suspicious shooting, this time in Södertälje.
– One person has been found injured and will be taken to hospital by ambulance, says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the person is seriously injured, and a preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been established.
