The police received an alarm that several shots had been fired in Hovsjö, Södertälje, shortly after midnight.
– There are several people who have called in that several shots have been fired. A gunshot wounded man was found at the scene and taken to hospital. The damage situation is unclear, says Anna Westberg.
The shooting occurred outdoors in a parking lot next to a school. The site has been cordoned off and a technical investigation will be carried out.
– We have several resources on site and are looking for, among other things, a dog patrol, holding interrogations and through surveillance film.
The incident is classified as attempted murder or alternative homicide. No person is currently arrested.
The injured man is 18 years old and at 02.30 the police announce that the injury situation is still unclear.
